The Vinylmations Have Arrived

A couple of days ago I ordered 3 Vinylmations from the Clear Series 1, Urban Series 2, and Muppets Series 1. Finally, after eagerly waiting day after day, they arrived today! Here is what I got:

On the left side is shows the Clear Series 1. I ordered one from here (my second in this series) but got none of the ones shown there. It's black but has a mild purple tint, and almost appears as a Navy and not transparent when held under light. Mystery Chaser? I think so.

The next one I got, I was quite disappointed in. It was the last one I wanted to get from the Urban 2.

Urban Series 2 - 'Girlie' (ehh...)

And last up, from the brand new Muppets Series 1, I got the old man standing in the top left of that display case. Statler, the comedic heckler who peaks high above the balcony with his elder friend Waldorf at The Muppet Show. A pretty good one, probably the 3rd lowest one I wanted, but I didn't mind getting any of them!

Well, that does it for this shipment of Vinylmation! I'm planning on ordering 3 more within the next few months, so be prepared to do this all over again! ;) (Also, I guess that's the dangerous aspect of these things. You always. Want. More.)

Lines weren't too bad today. The longest approximate waiting time in the prime of the day was around 40 minutes.

Vinylmation Contest

I have a fun little contest for everyone! I recently (Saturday) ordered a shipment of 3 Vinylmation Figurines from the Disney Store's Online Shop, and I am really excited to receive them later this week. (Thursday-ish). But I want to host a fun little contest to see if anyone can correctly guess what Figurines I get! Here are the clues!

I ordered 3 total. 1 from each of the following series:
  1. Muppets Series 1
  2. Urban Series 2
  3. Colors Series 1
So, just comment with your guess for each figurine from each series and let's see if anyone can get it right! I'm excited to find out!

An update on this contest will be posted Thursday!

Captain EO Returns Tomorrow / Merchandise Announced!

Well everyone I hope you are all very excited for the return of Captain EO tomorrow! But today the Disneyland Twitter Account shared some exciting news (that they previously said they would) that new Captain EO Merchandise will launch with the re-opening of the Attraction!

The site lists these specific items:
Captain EO Logo Ladies Tee - $26.95
Captain EO Logo Men's Tee - $24.95
Captain EO Poster Men's Tee- $ 26.95
Captain EO Logo Crew Fleece - $42.95
Captain EO Logo Military Cap - $24.95
Captain EO Logo Beanie Hat - $24.95
Poster - $7.95
Captain EO Logo Button - $3.95
Captain EO Embroidered Nylon Jacket - Coming in early to mid-March!
Now that last item at the bottom really sort of caught my eye. 'mid-March!' it says, so we can at least assure that EO will last a month at Disneyland!

The items will be able to be purchased at these specific park locations:
Merchandise will be available at the following Disneyland® park locations and other select locations:
  • Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A.
  • Star Trader in Tomorrowland
  • Tomorrowlanding in Tomorrowland

Well, this is exciting, especially for EO Fans! Hopefully we can buy some of this swag online, but if not, I'm sure somebody will haul some stuff on eBay.

Also, if anyone is seeing Captain EO tomorrow, send us a comment on this post telling us EVERYTHING about it, what it was like, did you enjoy it, have you seen the original film, etc. We want to know!

Well that's it for now, see you all very soon!
